Volunteering with the ACJ
In order to read an essay on the history and services of the ACJ, click here. The program has asked Shine a light to find volunteers with the following characteristics:
Skills: Social workers, doctors, psychologists, nurses, community organizers, teachers, dancers, artists, musicians.
Length of Service: Between six months and a year is best.
Language: A basic level, with the expectation that it will improve.
Age and Education: None
Personal characteristics: The ACJ is a volunteer-oriented program. Volunteers must be dependable, organized, and ready to learn.
