Volunteering with AVAPE

Though Shine a light has not yet met formally with AVAPE, and thus the program is not a member of the Shine a light Network, it has asked Shine a light to look for volunteers. AVAPE does not work with street children, but with disabled and other special, poor children.

Skills: Doctors, art educators, and psychologists.

Length of Service: One year.

Language: Good level of Portuguese

Age and Education: All volunteers must be more than 18 years old.

Personal characteristics: All volunteers must be committed to helping disabled children.
