Volunteering with Projeto Axé
In order to read an essay on the history and services of Projeto Axé, click here. The program has asked Shine a light to find volunteers with the following characteristics:
Skills: Dentists, Psychologists (with psychoanalytic training), Librarians, Computer scientists.
Length of Service: At least three months.
Language: Enough to understand and make oneself understood.
Age and Education: Volunteers must be over 18 years old. Experience depends on the job that one will do.
Personal characteristics: Commitment to the work, reliability, and understands the economic and social causes of the exclusion of poor children in Brasil.
