Volunteering with Canoa Sin Fronteras
Though Shine a light has not yet met formally with the Asociación Canoa Sin Frontera, it has asked Shine a light to look for volunteers. The program integrates various services to help children living and working on the streets of Iquitos, Perú.
Skills: Almost anything is helpful
Length of Service: Three months
Language: Some Spanish
Age and Education: No requirement
Personal characteristics: Willingness to work in one of the most forgotten, but also exciting, regions of Latin America. Ability to deal with jungle, heat, and poverty.
