Volunteering with Casa Alianza
In order to read a long essay on the history and services of Casa Alianza, click here. The FOC has asked Shine a light to find volunteers with the following characteristics:
Skills: Psychologists, social workers, educators, and artists. Also administrative and legal volunteers.
Length of Service: Six months to a year.
Language: "80% fluency"
Age and Education: All volunteers must be more than 21 years old and have some experience with street children.
Personal characteristics: "We seek people with a social consciousness; they musy be honest, responsible, committed to their work, and ready to accept the norms of Casa Alianza."
