Volunteering with Club Recoleta

Though Shine a light has not yet met formally with Club Recoleta, and thus the program is not a member of the Shine a light Network, it has asked Shine a light to look for volunteers. The Club, a Second Division football team in the Paraguayan national league, has an outreach program for street and working children and teenagers, some of whom have even become members of the team. Skills: Football coaches and trainers, specialists in sports medicine.

Length of Service: Case by case, but generally several months.

Language: Enough to coach teenage footballers

Age and Education: Over 21 years old

Personal characteristics: Commitment to poor children and a love of football.
