Coca-Cola Valued Youth Program (Programa Coca-Cola de Valorizacão do Jovem)

Through their mentoring program in Brazilian public schools, the Coca-Cola Valued Youth Program’s main objective is to keep at-risk kids from dropping out of school, which in turn is a preventative action for keeping kids off the streets. Although they have not yet worked with volunteers, they are notably one of the few projects carried out within Brazil’s public school system and a sound example of Brazilian protagonismo.
