Volunteering with the FOC

In order to read a long essay on the history and services of the Fundación de Organización Comunitaria, click here. The FOC has asked Shine a light to find volunteers with the following characteristics:

Skills: economists, business administrators, artists, farmers, and public relations specialists

Length of Service: Six months, though this is flexible

Language: Medium fluency

Age and Education: All volunteers must be more than 21 years old and should have at least a high school education

Personal characteristics: The volunteer must be ready to learn, must be committed to social justice, and must be willing to work to change society.
