Michael Feigelson, Shine a light fellow
Michael is a 24 year-old native of New York City. He attended Wesleyan University where he got a degree in Computer Science while also studying photography and spending a semester abroad in Durban, South Africa. Following graduation, he spent one year on a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship conducting a photographic study of street children and social workers in Mexico, Romania and Ghana. For the past year he has served as a consultant for McKinsey and Co. in New York where he worked predominantly in the Media & Entertainment practice.
Since July, Michael has been in Chiapas, Mexico, to work with Shine a Light and Melel Xojobal to develop a learning model for the Indigenous Solutions intitiative.
