Volunteering with IPIFAP

Though Shine a light has not yet met formally with IPIFAP, and thus the program is not a member of the Shine a light Network, it has asked Shine a light to look for volunteers. The program works to end child labor in Chiclayo, Perú. More information is available at www.ipifap.org

Skills: Street Educators, Sociologists, Economists, Anthropologists (to teach in a colloboration with the local university)

Length of Service: Case by case, but generally several months.

Language: Good ability is Spanish

Age and Education: Some university education

Personal characteristics: Commitment to the work and willingness to live in difficult circumstances. Responsibility and strong ethics are fundamental.
