Volunteering with JHA-JA

In order to read an essay on the history and services of JHA-JA, click here. The program has asked Shine a light to find volunteers with the following characteristics:

Skills: Psychologists, particularly those with experience with addiction issues. Artists.

Length of Service: Six months for artists, as long as possible for psychologists.

Language: Ability to be understood by teenagers.

Age and Education: Psychologists must have worked with at risk teens in the past.

Personal characteristics: A disposition to change the community, and the courage to work with gang members.
