Jardín de Belén

The Jardín is a shelter for street kids and a learning center for children of Parcelamiento San Agustín, one of the most marginal of Maracaibo’s neighborhoods.

The program provides integrated services, from medicine and nutrition to housing and education. Sports and religion are also fundamental.

Father Jaime Kelley, and Irish Priest, founded the program when he saw several street kids and brought them home in his car. Today the Jardín does not do street outreach, instead allowing the city to refer children to them
