Volunteering with Novo Mundo

In order to read a long essay on the history and services of Novo Mundo, click here. Novo Mundo has asked Shine a light to find volunteers with the following characteristics:

Skills: Fundraisers, psychologists, artists, accountants, doctors, and teachers

Length of Service: Long term volunteers are preferred, but not essential

Language: Volunteers need enough Portuguese to speak with children

Age and Education: All volunteers must be more than 18 years old and should have at least a high school education

Personal characteristics: dedication, commitment, and a sense of humor.
