Volunteering with the Escola do Parque

In order to read an essay on the history and services of the Escola do Parque, click here. The program has asked Shine a light to find volunteers with the following characteristics:

Skills: Art teachers, teachers.

Length of Service: At least one year.

Language: Portuguese Fluency.

Age and Education: All volunteers must be more than 18 years old and should have at least a high school education.

Personal characteristics: A commitment to social justice for poor children, an understaning of the root causes of poverty, and ability to work as part of a team.
