Volunteering with Pro-Morato

Though Shine a light has not yet met formally with Pro-Morato, and thus the program is not a member of the Shine a light Network, it has asked Shine a light to look for volunteers. Pro-Morato uses art and environmental education as tools for community development in the poor favelas of Francesco Morato, São Paulo. The program has kindly sent a power-point presentation to describe its work, and you can download it here.

Length of Service: One month.

Language: Enough to give art classes

Personal characteristics: Responsibility, dynamism, and willingness to help socially excluded children.
