Volunteering with PROCRIU

In order to read an essay on the history and services of PROCRIU, click here. The program has asked Shine a light to find volunteers with the following characteristics:

Skills: Educators. Art instructors. Music and dance instructors.

Length of Service: At least one month.

Language: Portuguese fluency for direct work with children; basic portuguese for support work..

Age and Education: All volunteers must be more than 18 years old.

Personal characteristics: Commitment. Ability to cope with the misery of people near you. The favela where PROCRIU is located is not safe, so one should be prepared.
