Glue (goma; in other countries, boxer, activo, Resistol, pegante, inhalante, cola.)
Though the form of the inhalent may change from country to country (in México kids sniff a PVC cleaner, in Central America a cobblers glue, in many parts of Africa, gasoline), the idea is always the same. By blocking oxygen from the brain, the user will feel dizziness, forgetfulness, and the absence of hunger. Overdose can lead to loss of consciousness and death by asphyxia. Inhaling toxic chemicals, particularly toluene and cyclohexane, causes permanent brain damage. They literally decompose the physical structure of the brain.
